Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dryer.
Regular Cleaning of the Filter
Clean the filter after every drying cycle to prevent clogging, which increases cycle time and causes higher energy consumption. Open the door, pull the filter up, open it, and use a moist hand to clean it. If necessary, clean the filter with warm water using a brush, and then close the filter.
Condenser Maintenance
Regularly clean the condenser to prevent blockages. If the condenser is clogged, it can cause damage to the dryer and increase energy consumption. Do not use sharp objects to clean the condenser.
Check Airflow Grills
Ensure that the airflow grills at the bottom of the appliance are not blocked. Blocked grills can affect the dryer's performance.
Water Container Management
Drain the water container after each drying cycle. If the water container is full, the program stops automatically and the drain container LED turns on. To continue the program, drain the water container and press the start button.
Avoid Overloading
Adhere to the maximum load volume to ensure efficient drying. Overloading can extend drying times and reduce performance.
